We are back from our girls day trip to San Luis Obispo- Remnants of the past show. We had a absolute blast!......
How our time went down-
Friday afternoon we headed to San Luis Obispo....the drive flew by and before we knew it we were there. We checked into our Hotel.....exchanged gifts.....then headed off to the beach for dinner.
Beautiful evening...not too cold....just right.
Have a wonderful dinner at Old Custom House, walked on the beach & dock.....perfect evening.
We stayed up way too late...but had fun talking and even a little pillow fight happened. =)
Saturday morning....headed to the show....just five minutes away.
Great displays and vendors....a little tight with all the people there.... but, ton of fun never- the- less.
One of the things I was looking forward to was meeting a long time blog friend for the first time.
Brooke from Velvet and Linens was there signing her book Patina Style.....what a beautiful women she is.... it was so fun putting a voice to the words.....and yes, she is just an I imaged....kind, humble, gracious .... and tiny. =)
What fun!
More shopping and silly fun. {As some of you may know....I'm dreaming of someday owning a vintage trailer....well Ruby Rose had one at the show....just had to have our picture taken in it.}
After we had walked/ and shopped all we could take.....it was time to head out. We headed back down town SLO for late lunch at Novo. Also spent more time checking out the vintage shops there too.
Vintage Etc.
Old world Charm
We decided it was time to head home, when we couldn't fit anymore in the car.....
Poor Sandi had to share the back seat with all our treasures.....good thing she is tiny.
It was a wonderful time spent with good friends- {got home a little later than expected.....talking too much I missed our turn off and drove about an hour before we realized we were going the wrong way. {smile}
Fabulous time! Here's a little look at the treasures I got-

Along with 3 vintage locker crates
2 tall metal vases
22 yards of burlap
and 2 vintage lamp shades.
Happy Day!
