Okay, what can I say. It was fabulous! We had fairly good seats, kind of high up and to the side- but close to the stage, I think we could see better than most people on the ground level who were closer to the stage.
So our seat were pretty good- except for the fact that I had to share part of my chair with the guy next to me, as the usher took us to our seats- I could tell right away that I would need to take one for the team, if you know what I mean. {His seat would not contain all of him} Oh well just meant that Dan and I cuddled more.
The show started with a opening act by another group- was not impressed at all. In fact kept thinking why in the world would Josh have a group like this open for him. They were kind of like a group that we saw in Mexico at a tourist dinner we went to. {Remember Shannon that little restaurant we stopped at after we saw the ruins} Anyway, it was a relief when they left the stage.
Then finally Josh came out! Wow what talent.... What would it be like to have that kind of talent? I think he sounds even better in person. And he is fun to watch. At one point during the concert he left the stage, then showed up in the middle of the audience, Wow that was fun, girls were running all over to get to him, one even stole a kiss- man the body guards were on her fast.
He sang all my favorite songs..so that was great. As I was listening I kept thinking okay at one point or another he will get a little tried and his voice will weaken...not so...his voice is "deliciously flawless"! It must be very liberating to have a voice like that. I think it's up there with having "super powers". He did have a few musical surprises, {played the drums} and sang a few songs I've never heard- but they were great. he seems like a good guy, At one point in the concert a large group of fans were allowed to come up to the stage, and he sat there and talked and signed their papers. {Just for a few minutes.} he even told the girls not to get Tattoos- interesting...
All in all the concert was exhilarating, and I love my sweetheart for taking me there.
Sorry, this is the only picture I have of the night. When we were going through security, the guy saw that I had a camera and would not let us in with one. So Danny walked all the way back to our car {far away, took 15 minutes round trip.} to put the camera away. So okay, when did they start not letting you take cameras in?
Well, away we get inside and all around us people are taking pictures, yes with cameras, and we see flashes going off everywhere, and the group of fans that came up to the stage were taking pictures. So we are thinking what's up with that- do we look like a threat? So I was a little put off by that. I think I may even write a little note to the Save Mart Center. Danny, bless his heart felt bad, guess I looked a little sad. He went and purchased a very nice "John Groban" picture book. He's so cute...- Danny that is :}
