The foundation has been poured! You could say I'm pretty excited to see this slab of cement! We have been dreaming about this home for some time now.
As a child, I was just a girl who lived on a farm who looked forward to having a family and settling down somewhere and growing something- you know, like a garden. (smile) Mainly I just wanted to settle down.
In my childhood our family moved 19 times in 19 years..... Which is quite an adventure...until it is not.
Since we have been married we have lived in the general area ...getting close to 40 years....yikes, did I just say that?!
Anyway.....
We are planning for this to be our "forever" home.....so, I'm just hoping we do it right. (not perfect, perfection is overrated...just a little quirky, vintage and modern...just home.)

The foundation is in!
Hoping to have a roof in a few months....we have 3 of these waiting patiently for their place at the top!
