Wild Willy's & the end of our trip-
At the end of our stay- view from our villa.
With just a few more days left we headed out on our last adventure-
Wild Willy's Airboat tour at Lake Tohopekaliga in St. Cloud, Florida.
It was awesome fun! Their boats go really fast...it's hard to tell in this video...but believe me, they are fast!
If you are in the area check it out....they are so nice there.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Vistana Villages
Just what we needed a week of rest and fun...
(a few little details...for my scrapbook)
Front entry and main pool-
Our villa was around back....with a smaller pool ( I think there were...5 or 6 different pool areas}
This was the small lake that we looked over from our room.
Other than crazy airline stuff (lost luggage, broken planes, crazy landings and behind schedule} also being ran into by the resort staff in a golf cart was not all that fun. =)
All in all ....
We had a wonderful relaxing time.
Now it's back to work and real life.

Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach & Winter Park
Danny has always wanted to visit Kennedy Space Center...so off we went. Kennedy Space Center is a working spaceflight facility....with tours, films and exhibits.
Our day-
- IMAX Theater- Hubble 3-D
- Rocket Garden
- Saw the actual Mercury Mission Control consoles and other space artifacts
- Touched a moon rock
- Explored NASA's shuttle program centered around the Atlantis orbiter...got strapped into a launch simulator and was launched into space. =)
- Space Walk of Honor
- Toured Launch control center and cape canaveral ...got up close to Launch Pad 39A and The Vehicle Assembly building
During an actual lift off...you have to view it from 3 miles away...any closer and you die. =)
We really enjoyed all the history and artifacts....plus it was not crowded and the weather was great...just a little over-casted.
So many movies have been filmed here it was fun to see that.... and Remember "I Dream of Jeannie'? a lot of that was filmed here too.
Since we were so close to Cocoa Beach (Jeannie's home} we headed there after our stay.
We spent time here just walking and holding hands...ahhhhhh =)
We ended our day with dinner by the beach.
The Next Day we ....slept in until 11am....yikes haven't done that for like...35 years =)
But this trip was all about resting-
When we finally pulled ourselves up... we headed to...
Winter Park-
to take a scenic boat tour- around the lakes and through the canals. Mainly so I could enjoy all the architecture. Dating from 1880 until now.
The oak trees were amazing...some older than 300 years.
This home was build around 1920...Oh, how I wish I could of toured the inside.
This was built in the early 1900's as a gentleman's poker club house.
Several homes were built in the 1950's...this home was Mr Rogers....now I know why he always sang ..."It's a lovely time in the neighbor...won't you be my neighbor"... yes, oh yes I will.
The canals date back over 100 years.
We had a wonderful day!

Florida Vacation-
I think we can now finally relax- Three days into our trip and all is well. It didn't start off that way...
Just a couple hiccups
- The airline Loss my luggage...returned to us 36 hours later.
- Resort maintenance guy in a golf cart ran into us....crazy! We are fine...rental car not so much....but all is well.
- Learned how to avoid major slow traffic- 5 miles = 1 hour
We are now just chilling- we sleep in until 9 or 1o, sit by the pool or drive around town.
We braved ...downtown Disney and spent one day at Orlando Florida Universal Studios
(and we are done with that ....It's spring break here....who knew....guess we should of checked before we came.}
We never really planned to go to Disney or Universal...just thought we would peek in....done =)
We did have fun at Universal studios...not as crowded. (sounding like an old person...yikes}
One evening we went to La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil We really enjoyed the show...amazing what you can do with your body...well, what they can do. =)
Sunday has been very peaceful-
We are just going to chill for the rest of the day.... (take a nap}
and see what the rest of the week brings.

The Outside view...Spring is Green-
When Spring comes to Catheys Valley....it makes a very green entrance!
Blessed to have some rain- (we worried that the green would by pass us this year.}
But it is green.
and the Lake filled back up....(it was down to the point where the dock was on dry ground.)
The table that Ben made for us using the wheels from an old hay Rake . (we miss Ben}
Everything is green-
Spring is green.

Flower Potluck-

Little Lamb- Baby Shower
Jessica is having a baby girl in little over a month! Heidi, Bree and I decided to "shower" her with a little love.
Baby shower theme- "Little Lamb"
Sandi was kind enough to offer her home for the event- Thanks so much Sandi!
We had a blast planning and working together...get ready for tons of pictures...Happy Day.

Decorations-
The flowers- Lambs ear, daises with purple centers, sweet peas, purple stock
- Menu- P&J sandwiches stacked like a cake, asparagus pasta salad, yogurt bar.

- clothes pin game...don't say baby.
One of the favorite things that we did-
"Wishes for the Baby"
I loved that everyone got to pretend to be a fairy God Mother and sprinkle a little magic around the room.
One of sweetest little comments came from my 7 year old granddaughter-
she wrote-
"I hope you grow until you die"
think about it, don't we all want that? to grow and learn until we die.
Sweet Wisdom from a 7 year old.
We kept the guest list intimate... dear family, close friends and women that Jessica serves with in Primary.
We did not plan this- stripes are in. =)
The favors-
- Mini burlap "lamb" bags
- filled with mini soap and twine
- Share your favorite name- the ladies wrote their favorite girls name on a tag and worn it during the shower....all the tags were given to Jessica to put in the baby book....when her little girl is older she can look back and see what the popular names were.
- Sugar spun wool- cotton candy
The cupcakes- Heidi made them....so very yummy!
