The rain had taken a little break and the sun is out. Oh Happy Day!
I haven't stop long enough to post much this week. But I'm still here.
Emma has been keeping me pretty busy....oh, the joys of "potty training." =)
This week I re-organized the bubble room, spent a day at the Temple, painted a dresser silver, worked in the garden, spent some time with a friend; and all the other usual stuff that we do from day to day.
Are you in need of a fun "calorie free" Valentines gift? Sandi gave me this cute heart, love it.....and it's so useful too!
Heart Shaped Hot Rice Packs-
Cut 2 equal sized hearts from cotton fabric about the size of an 81/2 x 11 inch piece of paper. If you want to applique words on your Rice Pack do it now. Put fabric pieces right side together. Stitch around the edge leaving a 1/4 inch seam. Leave an opening in the side about 1 1/2 inches long. Turn right side out.
Using a funnel put 4 cups of uncooked rice in the heart. Stitch opening shut.
Store rice pack in the freezer to use as an ice pack. {good for little ones boo boos}
Place in microwave for 2-3 minutes to use as a hot pack.
What do you do when the sun finally comes out....grab a friend and head to a Home Goods Store. It's a perfect day.
I linking this post up with Melissa at the Inspired room. Lots of great ideas.
