We are back from our little girl get away, so I thought I would share how our weekend went-
After we checked in at the hotel we decided to get something for dinner. A little restaurant on the sand at the beach was perfect- We had dinner at Fins a little quirky place, but good food, and we watched the sun go down from our table.
It was a beautiful evening- the sun reflecting on the sand- light breezes, slightly cool temperature, campfires on the sand and great company. It was a nice night- After we left the beach we decided hot chocolate would be great....so with the help of our GPS we headed on our way....only to re- in act an episode from the"office"{click here to see it} but in the end we found our Hot chocolate. Went back to the hotel and played a couple games, talked.
The next morning got up early and found our way to the Antique event Remnants of the Past. Truly a fabulous setting. Here's a little look at what we did there.
- Fabulous hanging chandelier made with a wagon wheel, mason jars and Christmas lights.
- me and the girls
- Heidi buying some old skeleton keys from a "very french" guy. =)
- Me and Heather- it was fun to meet her. She has a fabulous blog. Check it out.
Some of our treasures- =) Can you guess which ones are mine?
After having all the fun we could stand we packed up our treasures and headed for home....but not without stopping at the beach once more.
Heidi being brave enough to let this bird sit on her head...just kidding.
It was a marvelous trip with the girls....I'm one lucky mother in law to have such sweet daughters {in laws =)
It was a Happy Day-
and if you are still trying to guess which items were mine- here's a little picture to help you out.
- flour sack
- mirror
- bay leaf wreath
- iron basket
Truly a great weekend.
