Denver and I left on Tuesday for Utah- 12 hours in the car and we made it to my Dad's home where we spent the night- I was SO tired- It was great to take a little break at his place before things really got going.
Wednesday-
- Spent the morning running errands and getting the last minute things for the wedding.
- Also got to visit with Jocelyn, Julia and Brock- {before he fell asleep- he is adorable.} It was a blast visiting with them- Jocelyn is my niece but I rarely get to see her.- I've been catching up with her family through her blog. Blogs are great! Julia is a precious young lady.
Denver claims he is all calm and collected- Well here's my take on it- if you have ever played a game of "Taboo" with Denver....you know how my day went. JOY!
Our Hotel- for the next few days-
When we were deciding where to stay for the wedding, Dan and I thought it would be fun to book rooms at Little America for us and all the kids- {We spent our wedding night at Little America 31 years ago!} The place has not lost it charm- here's a little look.
Two great pools- one outside and the inside one is on top of the tower- over looking the city.
Small little "Bellagio" fountains all over the Hotel grounds.
The rooms have an "Old world" European feel to them- with a little bit of retro thrown in- Our bathroom has retro pink tile- sweet.
Tomorrow another great day- meeting Bree's parents and attending the temple with them.
Plus tomorrow is the big family dinner and Denver's family bachelor party-Shannon and Scott have something sweet planned- It's a secret- But has potential for some great "Denver" moments-
It just doesn't get any better than this....Well, it could if Kent, Becca and Mason were here.
So wouldn't it be great to get a new grand-baby on the same day as the wedding?!
In a couple of hours....yes, almost midnight I will be picking Dan up at the airport! Happy Day....it never seems quite right until he is here.
Then I'm going to BED!
Okay I lied- just have to show you a picture of the Hamlet....another stage added.
The only thing new here is the rug- $75 from flooring liquidators-(It's so "Plush" I can barely run my vacuum through it. =)
Do you see some familiar things?
Okay, now I'll go to bed...well, after I pick Danny up. {I think I'm losing it}
