Girls day out had been way over due- so I packed up a couple friends and we headed out.
{it was a special day to celebrate Sandi's birthday that was back in March- see how far behind we are....sad that Cindy couldn't make it.}
We had been wanting to spent the day together at Filoli...like forever. So we couldn't put it off any longer-
Filoli is a historic house that sets on sixteen acres of formal garden.- it is the last of the California estates and was built between 1915-1917. Architect Willis Polk, was the principal designer for the house.
The unusual name Filoli was created by combining the first two letters from the key words of Mr. Bourn credo:
"Fight for a just cause; Love your fellow man; Live a good life."
So, Come on in..... Take your time to enjoy all the European inspired touches- garden room, terraces, murals, and the fabulous spring flower arrangements . Have fun-
As you walk about notice all the fabulous flower arrangement's- The entrance Foyer have seasonal flowers for you to enjoy-
Wisteria everywhere- and just so fabulous!
