Hite's Cove is famous for its spring wildflowers and ghost town. For years I've been wanting to take the hike in spring; it's not very hard or long of a hike, I think around 8 miles. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about it. Especially about the wildflowers.
I thought this year would be the year to finally go, well my body didn't agree with me about that decision. I'm hoping that in late April the flowers will still be there and I will be up to the hike.
I kick myself for not finding the time to take this hike. I really need to prioritize.
{and can you believe it, this place is a very short drive from my home. like 30 minutes, see what I mean I really need to start prioritizing!}
These pictures were taken by Ellen, a sweet friend, who understood how wonderful it would be for me to see them.
