For several years Shannon and I have had a tradition of getting together in the Spring for a Mother/Daughter event. We have done many things over the years, we've gone to Women's conference, got a spray on tan, and had fun spa days! This year we had a Mother Daughter party, we went all out. Shannon put together a fun scrapbook page for everyone to do, we had lunch and just had fun dressing up pretty! I love spending time with Shannon; each time we get together I've grown to appreciate the wonderful woman she is. I marvel at the job she does as a Mother and wife. Much better than I ever did! I like that she shares with me and in some small way I like to think that maybe she likes that I share with her.
I like this quote from William Shakespeare, kind of sums up how I feel sometimes.
"Thou art thy Mother's glass, and she in thee calls back the lovely April of her prime"
