Kent and Becca at the cabin- May 2015

It was wonderful to have Kent, Becca, Nick, Ellie and Christian here for a few days.   It was a fun packed week- (the first of the week we were at home and spent some time in Monterey)

But this post is about their visit at the cabin.

 It is always so much fun watching and listening  to all the fun that happens at the cabin. 

There are a couple things that I enjoy the most....listening to the laughter and fun play coming from the bunkie  and watching them explore the forest out back of the cabin.

It wouldn't be a cabin visit without a bonfire.

But it isn't all fun and games....we also work hard together as a family to keep the cabin in shape.

 

We are extending the deck....we want to make it big enough to have dinner and so the grand-kids can sleep out there. 

I love watching the men in my family work together. (Sam was at the Nut company...holding down the fort....so the boys could come help.)

Also once a year we clean up all the pine needles around the cabin. (fire law)

 

 We love this little family....and so appreciate that they take the time away from their busy live to come visit.

Beautiful time and weather I see you had.. Such lovely snap shots of the gkids and awesome to see your adult sons helping out around the cabin that means a great deal!! Can't wait to see the deck finished and all set up for dinner..More yummy times ahead..
