Cabin Kitchen remodel- take down

We removed the hanging ceiling and upper cabinets- and that is where we stopped.  Now it is time to finish the kitchen.

 

We have tried to make the best of it while we were waiting to start construction. 

We celebrated with a Girls Craft weekend...and a Christmas party.

We have had several family gatherings in the falling apart kitchen and I think all my boys have cooked in this old kitchen.

I'm so super excited to see the progress- {via pictures from Danny....I'm still taking care of Grand-kids}

So this is where she stands now....Danny and I will take it from here.

I have been sketching and pinning....hoping to come up with just the right feel for this kitchen....I plan to go a totally different way with this kitchen...something I've never done before.  Looking to make this an unfitted kitchen.
