We just happened to be at the Cabin for the first "snow" of the season....just beautiful.
So, this post is all about the snow.
We shared the weekend with Sandi & Steve and had a blast!
Bunkie looked like this just a few hours earlier.
Looking out at the front driveway bobsled course. ....we had plenty of fun adventure coming up and down that driveway.
Be prepared for tons of "snow" pictures....can't help myself =)
- Guys digging out the car
- Steve shoveling the snow to the bunkie
- Looking out our bedroom window
- The red truck looked pretty in the snow =)
Sandi and I had fun in the snow...but it was a little different story for the guys....digging out cars, the hot tub and the walkways, thanks guys....we all enjoyed watching the snow slide off the roof (we have a metal roof ...which makes for some very interesting snow fun, especially while you are sitting in the hot tub directly under the roof...well....we can't be expected to think of everything =}
Having fun setting the table- using our homemade birch log favors. I so love the vintage green glasses that Danny's sister Margaret Ann gave to us some 36 years ago.
We decided it would be fun to go snowshoe hiking....but when we got there, the guide had left, which meant we couldn't get the snowshoes....we didn't know you had to be there at a certain time.....so, we made the best of the situation and hiked 2 miles in knee deep snow...you know just for the "workout"!!!
Danny was the trail blazer....I tried to walk in his footsteps...=)
Sandi and I have checked something off our list...Walking two miles doing knee lifts in knee deep snow while it is snowing in about an hour and half....not sure many people can say they have done that...=)
What a wonderful snow weekend...Thanks Sandi and Steve for sharing it with us and for all your help!
Happy Day!
So pretty, until you get to the car, then its just BRRRRRRRRR.....
