Quite often when I'm around my granddaughters they ask for me to show them how to write a certain letter in cursive....
I love that they want to learn how to do that....(I guess some schools no longer teach penmanship}
Which started my hunt for a print for them.... came across this print on pinterest with a link where you could buy the print. (1895 school Primer}
I didn't want to just hand the girls a rolled up piece of paper .....so here is what we did.
Purchased the print....then downloaded the file. When to the staples site on line to copy and print the download....18 x24 blueprint copy. (blueprint copies come on heavier paper}
We trimmed the edges-
'Using a wooden suit pant hanger to hang it...easy.
We also thought about using an old measuring stick....attaching at the top and bottom with glue.
One I painted black and the other just rubbed some old paint on it.
Now the girls can hang these in their rooms if they want....to help with their first lessons in penmanship.
