For the art in the Bathroom, Becca picked out some pictures she took in France and we framed them.
It was totally a family affair- I painted and put up the new light fixture, Kent put in the new bathroom sink fixture and hung the new towel ring. Becca helped frame the art and then she put them up.
I've been trying to get a better picture- but it's been rainy here for a few days so the lighting is bad.
More art on the back wall
What we did-
- painted
- new mirror
- new light fixture
- Art- from France photos
- new sink faucet
- new towel ring.
Pretty simple makeover pretty much anyone could do, but it totally changed the feel.
(Note- when in Texas during the summer and you do any kind of work, plan on taking a couple showers a day. =)
I'm off to hold Nicholas.

looks great! And I like your Texas tip. :)

What a difference a little paint and a few pictures can make! Looks fantastic! When you get home and have nothing to do, I have a bathroom I would love some help with, pretty PLEASE.

That looks so nice! I am sure they loved having you there to help them do it - you are so good at that sort of thing! I had to laugh about your shower comment - in Georgia all you had to do was go outside, and you had to take a shower :).

A couple of showers a day might also be necessary when you are working in Texas during the Spring, the Fall, and sometimes even the Winter! But most of us down here get by knowing that "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes!"
Welcome to the state that I love!

I just popped over from Melissa's to tell you how much I love the mason jar. Now I also need to tell you how gorgeous the baby is! I love the art work, too. It won't surprise you to know I love paintings and photos of homes, windows, doors, gardens, pots of geraniums in cobbled streets - the living art that folk create wherever they live. Good wishes and blessings for you, your family and ventures.
