I decided to start the fall season off right, with a new Magnolia wreath. In years pasted I have gilded them and added stalks of wheat. But this year my choice was to go All natural.
I picked and washed a bucket full of Magnolia leaves & short branches. Towel dried them, then organized by size.
Found a couple of old "Spring" wreaths that had seen better days, and dis-mantled them so I could use the grape vine wreath.
The Grape vine wreath works perfect, because it allows you to "tuck" in the leaves and branches. Another tick I use, is to make a "pool" of glue and then dip the leaves in it. Makes it much easier to stick them where I want. On the placement of the leaves- some I let the green side show, choosing to have most of the copper side up, to give it that fall feel.

I love this idea!!!! I am looking forward to using items from my yard and garden for decorating.
Your site is awesome. I was looking through your event photos. Did you do all of those? I love that someone else goes all out for a 2 year old's birthday party. My friends think I'm nuts when I decorate to the hilt for parties. But I just can't help it:-)
