Prep Time....

Saturday Sam, Heidi and kids came down....for a busy weekend of ...

• conference
• fire class- Danny and Sam
• sewing
• playing with the kids
• Pizza- lunch in Mariposa
• Movie- Alvin & The Chipmunks

We think they turned out really cute- and Carlee was adorable with her little bag.
We had some fabric left over- and not wanting to waste it- we fashioned the left over pieces into a table topper to match the party decorations- Heidi did all the sewing on it.

We talked about how to put the table, etc. together- came up with the idea of using lunch bags with a ribbon running through it, or cut half way down and then thread the ribbon through, see table above...to be sitting at each place, with their lunch inside.


After all that sewing.....we needed a little play time. Preston was so funny trying to mimic Pepsi.

Okay Teresa I have been wanting to make those bags, I seen them in a magazine and I haven't found the pattern yet, where did you find them, I really want to make some. I think the ones I seen where more backpacks, but look the same. I love them; share your infor with me PLEASE!!!!
