Flo's Cinnamon Rolls-
Over the years Flo has made Cinnamon Rolls for her family and small parties; her friends found them to be far superior to any Cinnamon roll they had ever tasted.
. A friend of Flo’s started a small Boutique and asked her to bake and sell the Cinnamon Rolls. A few years later someone took over the boutique and she was asked to sell them at that boutique, a few years later that boutique was, again, handed over to someone else that made it into an annual and much larger event! She would make and sell Cinnamon Rolls all day for 3 days; she would bake cinnamon rolls every night and have cinnamon rolls ready for people to buy the next day. The demand of her cinnamon rolls was grand…. always a waiting list.
She did very well, and became very well known in her Arizona community for "Flo's Rolls". During the Holiday Season she would do the boutique; but she also had schools, Churches, parties and many families that would buy her goodies.
She did the annual boutiques for about 10 year selling just her Cinnamon Rolls. Flo and her daughters ran a small catering business for about 15 years which was very successful; catering for wedding, anniversaries, parties, all sorts of events.
A few years ago she retired from her Glory Baking Day’s, that’s when her daughters took over the catering business.
Heidi, who moved to Central California, carried on her Mother tradition and baked the Cinnamon Rolls for the 2010 Spring Event.
We are so super excited; Flo will be attending the 2012 Spring Event, where she and her Daughter, Heidi, will be baking and selling boxes of Flo’s famous Cinnamon Rolls.
Make sure you get yours.
Adria from the Greenery will be joining us at the Spring Event and we couldn't be happier- She will be teaching a mini class and also bringing some items to sell from the Greenery-
A little about Adria-
Adria - Marketing and Seminars Manager
Adria has been gardening since age 12. Since joining The Greenery in winter of 2001, she married Chris, who is now an officer with the California Highway Patrol. They have 3 children: Joseph born 2006, and identical twin girls born January 2010, Isabel and Grace. Using her degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Horticulture Science, Adria has learned the nursery well. She has a thorough knowledge of plants as well as products, marketing and displays. Adria has increasing knowledge and passion for marketing the nursery, she was ecstatic to put The Greenery on Facebook. In the rare moments that she gets to garden she enjoys growing veggies, perennials and annuals for birds and butterflies and other wildlife-friendly plants.
Here is a couple recent pictures from the Greenery-
We are so excited to have them join us- Happy day.
Welcome Deborah & Bryce!
I first saw their talents when they sold their treasures out of an old barn next to their home called "Good Things" full of vintage and primitive items. Deborah and Bryce have a very European countryside cottage style. They are planning to share some of their garden treasures with us at the Spring Event.
They showcase their talents everyday at The Vintage Market under the name Continental Calliope.
